Anyone playing Battlefield 2

I bought Battlefield 2 but I can only play Singleplayer for the following reasons: I have 4 PC's (my dad and I build them for a hobby ,) I have the main gaming beast 64-Bit, latest Gigabyte Dual channel motherboard etc. etc. etc. Unfortunaly this PC is not connected to the internet so I am unable to play online becuase the one PC that is hooked up to the internet is about half the power so no online BF2 for me.

A simple way of solving this obviously would be connecting the best machine to the internet but I am afraid that is my father's PC and he doesn't care for viruses and such like and doesn't trust anti-virus software.

I will have to save up some cash my fellow BF2 players

I am playing a fair bit, not psyco amounts; I got the game at release and I am 800 points short of Corporal... (PKM or m-95, it is so hard to choose!!)
