    Default A New Low

Wow. I am amazed nobody has posted this story yet. For those of you who think I am over the top in my criticism of the New York Times, take a look at this...

If you can't get dirt on the nominee, go for his toddler children...

The New York Times, despite it's claims to the contrary, is seeking to peek inside the sealed adoption records of Justice Roberts' 5 year old daughter & 4 year old son. Talk about 'stop at nothing'. How do these people live with themselves? They're going to tar & feather a 4 year old boy, just to play a partisan game, against a guy, who by all accounts is fairly moderate in his views and even did pro-bono work to help a homosexual lobbying group in a civil rights case.

Man, the Left knows no decency...

I have seen that before it. It isn't just ny times there was one far left organization trying to claim the 4 year old was gay.

Lol, they made fun of the little on Jon Stewart as well. That was hillarious, he was like dancing all over the place, with new hip hop beats an style that I had never seen!

Er... what are you talking about the Left? Why is it that a few leftwinger's views are so determining of the entire ideology?

Sure we bash Bush and his cronies, but that's because they actually have power!

I cannot speak for the Canadian Leftist movement, but the New York Times is the rallying point for the American Left. It's not even considered Far-Left, and most of the Leftists I know in day-to-day life try very hard to keep a straight face while they claim it's unbiased and objective. They usually don't succeed, but it is mainstream media for the Left, and gives you a good idea where the minds and hearts of the Democratic leadership is.

And that it would show up in a chatboard at that site does not suprise me at all. Hateful idealogs are what primarily post at moveon.org.
O well, seems like 'some' people decide to ruin a perfectly valid threat. Nice going guys... doc bean

Sorry, it was the Daily Kos, not Moveon.Org. Hard to tell the venom slingers apart these days. Here's the whole quote, from the Wall Street Journal editorial page...

If the New York Times is getting it's marching orders from the Daily KOS, which as this story indicates it is, they are in a world of hurt. Jason Blair will come to signify a highpoint in their journalistic prestige, not a low.

The abortion right's nuts are terrified because they just realized that, unlike laws made by the legislatures, what the SCOTUS grants, they can just as easily take away. Those arrogant pricks want the SCOTUS to do their bidding and not have to deal with such outdated ideas as democracy and legislatures.

And, boy oh boy, are these lefties scum. They don't even have the facade of caring about the good of the country. They just want to hamper Bush any way they can.

The good of the country? Since when has any politician gave a damn about that?

I'm not even talking about just politicians; but about 'journalists' at the NYT, and people at this KOS site.

Occasionally, a politician will put their country ahead of them. But it is rather rare.

What did the you expect from the NY Times, they make up stories and will do whatever it takes to smear anyone to the right of Hillary.

It speaks volumes that they are having to research the possible homosexuality of a 4 year old, as that means they dont have much meat on daddy.

Well, careful there PJ. Don't mix the stories. It was the Daily Kos that was talking about 'outing' Justice Roberts' 4 year old son. The NY Times, while equally distasteful, was seeking legal means to snoop into sealed adoption records of the boy, along with his sister.

Hehe. I like the Ledger, too! But those jerks are working on switching around the comics again. Did you see that? They did that maybe a year ago, and there weren't too many good ones added.

Though Get Fuzzy is great, and that was a new one...

Moderator's note: quoting objectionable material, either from another member, or an outside source, furthers the damage done. All posters are responsible and accountable for the ENTIRE contents of their post, including quotes...so please refrain. Sorry BP for using your post as an example.

And, of course: no f-word, in any form, is acceptable here. There has been a flood of it recently, leading to the premature closing of otherwise OK threads. It must stop. Alledging provocation is no defense. I will ruthlessly enforce this.

    Well, it turns out you can go even lower;

NARAL, a 'abortion-rights' group in the US, is airing an ad saying that Roberts supported a abortion clinic bomber ... except the papers Roberts signed was seven years before the abortion 'clinic' was bombed!

Don't let facts get in the way of your hate!
