Kind of plain isn't he. He might be a good subject for a
suicide attack test. Do you have any other possibilities with upcoming
kings/princes?

wow. that is the worst i have seen. does he have any good virtues to help?

Well, if he had useful brothers then you have good permanent generals now.

It looks like his game is about 30-50 years in and it doesn't seem like a good idea to do that... he's almost 50, just wait it out if you want to get rid of him.

LOL, that's pretty bad. Save the game, then make every effort to make him worse. See if you can loose the influence, gain some nasty vices, then come back and show us how Pedro went from bad to worse

LOL thanks for the welcome
i don't think i'll get rid of him: i've got only one heir, no economic problems and at least he is a magnificent builder and keeps the generals loyal. besides, he keeps getting sons and i'm in desperate need for generals.
the story is the real heir was his older brother, who got killed in battle in the most stupid way (stoned by a hidden catapult while on the run to capture routing enemy). now the only heir is son, who has 2 in acumen (wow!). i'm just hoping this bastard brings up good princes
i'll inform you if he gets any worse! promise!![]()
You seem to be having HORRIBLE luck...my HRE's and Novgorod Princes always seem ownage...and when I play vs the Spainsh, they have these 7 star Kings all the time...
I think we ought to have a 'worst king ever' contest. What say ye?

I've had one worse than that who had no piety and two loyalty.
In STW my Daimyo became Ronin leaving me with no Daimyo until he died.![]()
GIcat (from the .com) had an HRE Emperor with 3 Influence and zero in everything else.
In my current game the Turks had a Sultan with 2 influence and nothing else.

Probably a bug. I've seen the dead Imagawaga (as in faction destroyed) running around without any Daimyo for decades. Had about 10 provinces when they were largest.Originally Posted by Martok
It's not that uncommon that re-emerging kings got no other stats than 2-3 in influence.
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

Yeah, I've never had any kings that bad (I don't let them make it to the throne), though I've seen a few. Probably the best example was the re-emerged King of the Novgorods in my very first vanilla MTW campaign.
I was playing as the polish on Expert and had taken over all of Russia and pushed into Turkey, when suddenly the Novs re-emerged in (literally!) 7 or 8 provinces. So I sent some armies back and started fighting them. It was tough, but by the time it was all over and their King was quarantined in Finland, he was:
- a weak attacker
- had 2 influence, 0 command, and maybe 1 piety
- a coward (-9 morale!)
He led several breakout attempts into Novgorod which all ended basically with me moving my troops in his general direction and all of his troops running awayPretty funny really

any way when i played as spain....i had the best king EVER he max everything but he died of plauge
Very nice Abokasee, very nice.
My Italians have been having problems with anything resembling respectable heirs. When my current Doge took over, he was 1 excommunicated piety, 3 influence, and 2 acumen. 0 (yes, zero) command. Mind, this is MY new doge. But why use someone like that when I have 4 and 5 star non-heirs?
Anyway, my Influence is maxed (smacking the Egyptians around with Crusades, and punching the HRE, Hungarians and Pope around helps) so I am happy about that, and his piety is up a bit too. Still 0 command though.

The Almonds and Anglies seem to have an inordinate amount of crackbrained guys if you don't prune the family tree after a few decades. Novagrod seems to have a few many nutcrackers too.

I once fought a Holy Roman Emperor with zero command, zero dread, zero piety, zero acumen and four influence. Mind you, that was after a twenty-year reign of fire in Germany, courtesy of my inquisitors. But with the HRE this is easy, off course.
Unfortunatly, I did not take a picture.

You think that's bad. I had the utlimate Jedi King with the English, his only son came out with NO Command Stars and pretty much nothing else!
Dad had eight!

I think that's what they referred to as the 'wrap-around' bug. The son, by rights might have had some stats which were 10s but there's only room on the parchment for 9 of each marker. Whatever the internal values might have been, you see them as all zeroes...Originally Posted by Wigferth Ironwall

I never took a screenshot, but I had a really awful Danish king a few months ago. He had 2 piety, 0 dread, 0 stars, 1 acumen.....and 1 influence. Needless to say, I killed him off (with a green assassin on his first try, no less!). It ignited a Danish civil war that lasted over a decade, but it was far and away the better alternative. And fighting the civil war was fun, anyway.![]()
