Default Current modding project on LotR:Silmarillon?

I was looking everywhere for one of this but i only found all about the movies, or forth age, nothing about this ages. So i was wandering if there is any mod around (in any site) wich treats with the Silmarillon time? And also is there a way to make a dismount option to your mounted troops on RTW (preferably while in the battle map)?

I think there was a mod for the Second Age.... try checking over at

    http:\\www.twcenter.net

The mod may have some mention over there. It would make for an interesting mod though. The various races were not necessarily allied then. The total number of viable factions is smallish...but you can have the three main houses of men, plus various family factions of Elves.

As far as the dismounting of cavalry goes, it's not possible at all I am afraid.

Thanks. But can't you make the dismount like in MTW?

ahh...there you go! Iknew there was one out there :)

And no...you CANNOT dismount your units. Not on the Strat map...not in battle. Cavalry always stays on horseback

DIsmounting before battle. Could that be done? Like at the prebattle screen. If you really wanted to you could guit the gaem and make them get off the horses by text editing. But could you make somthing in the gaem that makes them get off?

Are you sure man? If you visit their page they say that it's for MTW, and also i ask this in the forum and a member of the project said to me that they don't plan to do it on RTW.
