Interesting. Seems he's been going on some expensive golf outings paid for by supporters but hasn't declared them. Sounds like a technicality...but one of these folks also is having trouble accounting for $13 million in state funds for investment in "rare coins", and is accused of having stolen $4 million at the moment Ouch!

Gov. Bob Taft is the great-grandson of President William Howard Taft (who was also the son of a Senator.) The governor's father and grandfather were senators. Note that Pres. Taft was a former friend who became the nemesis of Teddy Roosevelt. As a result the GOP split into a conservative wing (today's GOP) and a separate Progressive party under Roosevelt.

Aristocracy in action. Seems wrong to me that so much power should be in the hands of so few.
