I'm trying to take screenshots of RTW, but when I press the printscreen button, afterwards there are never any pictures in the TGA folder. What am I doing wrong?

Try using Fraps for Screenshots. It works for me.
RTW, 167 BC: Rome expels Greek philosophers after the Lex Fannia law is passed. This bans the effete and nasty Greek practice of 'philosophy' in favour of more manly, properly Roman pursuits that don't involve quite so much thinking.

Printscreen doesn't work for me anymore either. Used to before I reinstalled RTW. Not a problem usually as I use Fraps to grab screenshots, but I wanted to grab a few screenshots using the movie_cam option but there's a load of captions on screen in that mode which fraps will capture and which I don't want. Not that I'm that fussed anymore, but I assume there's a really simple answer to whats up with the screen-grabbing.

After u hit stamp/print screen buton in the Game...press Alt+TAB to view the desktop without closing the game...then open Paint in Windows and press Left Ctrl+V....and save the pic..works this way too....though is a little annoying

IIRC I fixed it by changing the key used for taking screenshots. Just use another key than the default print screen key.

Of course this doesn't fix the screenshot+aa=black bug, so i'd use fraps

I use FRAPS. Just press F10 each time you want a screenshot and it is saved. No need to do all the alt-tab to desktop etc. So much easier than saving in Paint.
You can even view the screenshots like a slideshow later.
To view your screenshots click on the ...View...button in the FRAPS window.

This is what i use http://www.howiesfunware.com/ScreenCp.exe, press f12 its saved, you get to choose the directory and file it is saved as.
