Thread: Medieval Tactics.
Howdy again all,
I'm not new here and from past experience I've noticed that EVERYONE here gives go advice/incites/opinions. My question is what are some good books on War in the Middle Ages?
I'm not looking for one in particular but if you have 5 or 5 million good books on this subject what is the best one. I have many books on other topics in history but not many on the Middle Ages or the battle tactics. Thank you.

There are all the historians of this site. Personally, I don't know much about Medieval tactics, but I hear the Osprey books on the subject are good, though sometimes lacking in detail.
Well I dont think there are books like "101 battle tactics of the Middle Ages" 
But one book that I can recommend is "The art of warfare in Western Europe during the Middle Ages" by J.F Verbruggen
