There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford
My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.
I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.
Starting a thread is for free but maintaining this
whole site costs Tosa something for sure.
I've no idea how much and I'm quite sure that most of it pays
through advertisements.
Try a google search for "webhosting" to get an idea.

The Org's hosting is provided for free by Telefragged. So it doesn't cost the Org anything for you to start a new thread.
However, the Org has been using commercial forum software (vBulletin) for the past year or so, which, after an initial fee, costs some money every year for continued updates and support.
Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri -- Quintus Horatius Flaccus
History is a pack of lies about events that never happened told by people who weren't there -- George Santayana
Starting threads doesn't cost staff money, not directly anyway. Like therother said: there's the licence and yearly fee for the board software, the extra servers for files cost money, opticals to burn back-ups cost money and there must be some cost for the hardware and ADSL to create the back-ups. The grunt of the costs is covered by Telefragged though. The ads are theirs to cover for those hardware/bandwidth expenses.
