I got intrested in Sengoku Jidai Mod.

I couldn't figure out how to use spearmen and feudal/chivalric sergeants. I couldn't get them to beat cavalry and thought I overlooked something simple.

I quickly found a satisfactory answer - they're better used for pinning and flanking manoeuvres. I must have read hundreds of MTW strategy threads since.

Now I mainly visit the tavern, but I still check up on MTW.
