If you want a great game, check out Hurling by the way. Its Europe's oldest field game (the Celts brought it to Ireland at least 2000 yeasr ago), and also the fastest in the world. Its basically two teams of 15 crazy Celts armed with large weapon-like devices known as Hurleys and a hard hockey-like ball known as a sliothar, running around a large field beating the living hell out of each other. Your not meant to hit the other guy with your Hurl, only tackle him, but its pretty common, and these guys often dont even wear helmets, hard as nails. There are two goals at either end. A ball over the cross-bar gets one point, under the cross btsar is a goal and that counts as three poin. A player can not carry the ball more than 4 paces, having then to balance it on the stick or pass it. You should give it a watch, its really great. As is Gaelic football!
