Most cities would be thrilled to have another tourist attraction -- especially one that the federal government still has to do all the upkeep for.

San Francisco is a bit ..... different.

I recall visiting there in 1990 or so. Despite having lived in or near major cities most of my life, San Francisco surprised me. Never before had I seen an adult shop advertising:

"Inflatable Sheep .... $34.95"

Just proves that there is a place that'll cater to anybody's tastes, you just have to look for it.

They do already have a warship there...

If every old warship was kept around you wouldn't be able to move around Britain's coast for all the rusty and rotting old ships.

Lets give California to China, seriously. I mean, they seem to hate America over there, let's give them to the most Anti-American major power on earth! They can frolic gayly in the fields, protesting the American war in Iraq but gearing up for a Chinese invasion of Taiwan and the States.
