pardon me for being a spoil sport, but i didn't find that funny at all.

looks like it was a setup; not something that really happened by happenstance

btw what kind of mom names her kid 'Brion'? shouldn't that have an "a" in there rather than an "o"?

duh - Brion is obviously his Characters name - not HIS name, is YOUR real name Navaros? I didnt think so.

Best thing since Leeroy. Damn, my guild mates were laughing their butts over this on the guild channel, but I haven't seen this thread until general Martok, my old brother in arms, presented it here at the .Org. Weird, huh?

Another one falls to the charm of Azeroth, I presume…

Voigtkampf!! You old muckety-muck; you old horse-thief! Long time no see!

Actually, I haven't quite yet succumbed to the mass psychosis that is WOW, but I can't claim I haven't been tempted. A couple of my fellows have it, and it does look pretty cool. I don't know, however, if I'd have the patience to play the game. (Although yes, I know that theoretically if I have the patience to build up a medieval kingdom and conquer the world, then it shouldn't be that hard for me to develop characters in WOW.)

I cannot recommend WoW to anyone. Why? It is too damn addictive.

I find myself popping in and out (pardon the pun) the server every now and then (assuming I have the time), checking AH, getting in touch with guild members and other people I’ve met in game, tailoring bags and making ammo for them. Its hilarious; first, the workday takes its toll; then, the women take their toll; and then, when I limp back home at 2.30 AM, half dead from sleep deprivation, I just go online “for a minute” and find 10 other insomniac maniacs like me, all grown up and working people (my guild has a 25 age limit to enter) complaining to each other how they should go to bed because they have to work in the morning, or should I say in three and a half hours from now, but we still keep grinding there like mad. I practically fell asleep before the monitor the other night before I called it a day.

[salutes Voigtkampf] Indeed. I still play it from time to time, but not very often. MTW/VI has been my drug of choice for the last couple years now.

Yeah, that's the other big reason I haven't picked it up (aside from expense). I spend too many hours as it is just playing Medieval (and various other PC games), plus hanging around here at the Org. No need to introduce another addiction into my life; you can only be on so many 12-step programs, after all.

The link doesn't present any thread. At least, it doesn't anymore. I feel like I'm missing out.

Shoot, you're right. They must have bumped the thread, but I can't find where it is now.

If I was smart, I would have a witty punchline in this sig that would make everyone ROTFL.

    I'm not smart.
