    Question Corruption

As I increase the difficulty settings corruption in my cities seem to go more and more on the rampaga to the extend where it has actually become my number one problem.

Any tricks on how to reduce/fight corruption?

    Thanks

Law buildings reduce corruption and good govenors aswell, keep your money below 50k aswell or your governers get bad finance traits.

Distance from your capital is a major factor in corruption. Choose your capital near the center of your empire or the largest money-producing area. For example, if your empire includes Gaul, Italy, Spain, and Greece you can either choose a capital around the center of your empire (around Massilia, Segesta, Arretium, etc.) or somewhere near Greece (like Tarentum or Apollonia), where most of your empire's wealth will come from.

Add an academy and upgrade it in any town with a governor. They will add people to the retinue, which will at least offset the corruption somewhat by increasing revenue.
