I agree. What country wouldn’t be better if all the girls were prettier! At least at closing time.

But seriously I will have to think on this one. Too many easy answers to blurt out.

    Restoration of the Empire.

National service for 2 years, or public service for 3 years, after which the subject is granted the right to vote.

allowing all lords to take their rightful seat in parliament.

less party-orientated politics, more freedom to the candidate.

Going back to the previous style of local councils, with a local provost and council for each town.

I don't see at as Anti-Mexican. I see it as quite hazardous for border jumpers, but if you don't think all Mexicans are border jumpers or that all border jumpers are Mexicans, it's not Anti-Mexican.

    well here goes...

    1. Reformat the education system so that the same thing is taught to everyone everywhere in the country and if some schools need more help teaching the kids then they get it. (I have plenty of suggestions for this )

    2. Reform our judicial system and eliminate the red tape. It literally takes years to be captured tried and convicted and then the appeals… The punishment and reform system needs a tweak too. Much harsher penalties and less jail time. And those who can truly be reformed need to be given the opportunity.

    3. I think the reallocation of defeated enemies assets should be practiced with more zeal. By the military (oil, wealth, etc.) and the police (drug dealers money, assets, etc.). Call it plunder if you like.

    4. Larger military, sure it is strong now but we lack depth. “Our Boys” need a holiday and there is no one to replace them. Soldiers being gone for so long make them unhappy and their families back home real unhappy. To keep the people happy I think a shorter cycle time would go along way.

    5. Strengthen our information network. It seems like the media knows more about our enemies than the gov. does. There is no way something like 911 should happen with an effective network of spies.

    6. A flat tax should be in place. With no discounts to anyone for anything. Close off some of those offshore account tax loopholes too.

    7. I also think that the Government should play a bigger role in “Big Picture” thinking and leave the "daily" stuff to the people. Limiting the power of big businesses, social security, environmental concerns, foreign policies (like why are we sending sooo much work to China when they are potentially our biggest military threat?), etc. I read too often how some politician has taken up some barley important crusade to save a “historic” house in a slum or to allow patrons to bring their own bottled water to the amusement park. I say focus your energy on the important things; anyone can protest the amusement park but how many people can really work towards fixing social security.

    8. We should set up a system where people living in overpopulated areas are encouraged to move to areas that could take advantage of more people/larger workforce. Less people packed into a small area would lower crime in those areas.

    9. Make voting more fair to productive members of society. Can only vote if you have graduated HS, you get an extra vote if you have a degree or were in the military, and an extra vote if you are a home owner, etc. and you cant vote if you owe back taxes or are a felon, etc. Just ideas, don’t know if they are the best but something to make a better citizens vote more important or to encourage being better informed about what is being voted on.

    10. And finely the human mousetrap. As a society we have basically gotten rid of survival of the fittest and natural selection. We have no natural predators so the stupid, week and just plain durh can breed, we have an over population of durh and need to control it. I suggest we put into effect a human sized mouse trap that has a 20 dollar bill in it and consider anyone caught in it so durh that they shouldn’t be around to durh up the gene pool. (Just kidding, well sort of )

The death of just about every politician in government right now, as pretty much all of them are corrupt. Then, someone who actually wnats to make anything out of the country should be made leader, and given full authority. Also, mark PETA members as traitors, and have them executed, if they try to protest for animal rights within the country's borders.

    More local investment into infrastructure.

More local investment into industry instead of minmal job creating investments like real estate.

I'd definitely include that one for my country too.

    Also

Dissolution of the Act of Union
    Exit from the EU
Entry into a new Northern European trade block (Scandinavia, Holland, Germany, former UK countries... not France)
    Better roads
Absolutely no state support for religion (no faith schools etc)
    Better hostpitals
    Better schools
    More investent in green technology
    Less short-termism
Smaller more dynamic armed forces (combined army, navy, airforce)
Sensible foriegn policy (not always following the US)
    An end to yobbishness
Slashing the welfare state (but retaining free-ish healthcare)

Oh yes and lots of Brazilian babes! (not that they'd want to come here after what happened recently!)

Apart from the free beer and legalizing 'soft' drugs, I'd make Johnny Prescott the head of state, if only for the comic value of his mangling of the English language. ....

Here, as a warning, are 10 of Mr Prescott's fiercest assaults on the English language:

1 "I would like to make some start in my speech."

2 "The city of York already is a city, as is my own city of Hull is a city, and that I think is the definition of city and town."

3 "It's not the sanity of the picket lines that bothers me, it's the sanity of human life."

4 "On housing and charities you have difficulties about the financing of long-term finances affecting those housing, very real problems and I'm sure that we agree with them, but it was good for conference but it wasn't much action, it was an awful lot of getting the conference going, yes I will give way."

5 "The agreement is taking place. I tell him properly that if his judgement to make a judgement on the public interest and the safety of the community. That is not my judgement, it is the judgement given to the Attorney General."

6 "On the other hand, when I look at the urban cities and I look at how we use our money, there are issues where the need to buy issues, quite frankly, and it's bought at a price and a very discounted price, which we all agreed to be doing, but then it's sold at a very high price back to the state when they want to do something about improvements. Well, that's costing us literally millions of pounds."

7 "For the first time hypothecating any real increase in fuel duty to roads and public transport and I invite them to say if this hypothecation they are compared to adopt it."

8 "I think that we are prepared to tolerate that, because it's not a policy difference only, it's all those peoples who haven't got homes, the doctors and nurses, the people who are in homeless, they're the ones who've been carrying the pain for that."

9 "If I decide it is right to make a statement to this house, that's what I do, that's what I have done, and it didn't come from anybody else."

10 "The objectives remain the same and indeed it has been made clear by the prime minister in his speech yesterday that the objectives are clear, and the one about the removal of the Taliban is not something we have as a clear objective, it is, but is, but is possibly a consequence that as the Taliban clearly giving protection to Bin Laden and the UN resolution made it absolutely clear that anyone who finds them in that position declares themselves as an enemy and that clearly is a matter for these objectives."

    Ask Aristotle
    John Prescott
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

“Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it whether it exists or not, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedy.”

To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticise.

"The purpose of a university education for Left / Liberals is to attain all the politically correct attitudes towards minorties, and the financial means to live as far away from them as possible."

...only if she went back to being a brunette. Peroxide should be outlawed.

Winter to be colder, summer to be hotter, and less cloud at all times. A better football team. Fewer cars, provided I could still have one. Better trains. Gassing all grey squirrels, so the nice native red ones can come back. Staying on BST all year round and to hell with Scottish postmen, buy torches if you have to. Teaching Spanish rather than French in school. Banning advertising during childrens programmes. Making an hour of sport a day part of the school curriculum. Making it illegal to use the phrase "its political correctness gone mad". In fact, hell, making the Daily Mail illegal. 500% tax on all package holidays and budget flights, in the hope Europe might forget what barbarians we all are.

    That's enough for now.

    Beruit's idea is fine too.

Blimey I'd better buy a bullet proof vest then... there was a time when I would have sworn allegiance to the Union Flag but now I'd only make an oath to the cross of St George.
