Illegal immigration is so bad in america that I think we should just shut down the southern boarder.

Time I suppose.

For me the country (Britain) is stale and uninspired - still suffering post imperial blues I suppose. I think that ending the union would invigorate its component parts - all of them, but especially England. Give us back a sense of purpose.

Also the current British government has played a large part in changing my views. Scottish and Welsh parliaments...that's fine. What about England? No English parliament? This is not an oversight - it's a conspiracy. "Crazy Frog" Prescott's lunatic plans to carve up England too - thankfully the good old Geordies gave him a poke in the bulgey eye on that one. But don't be surprised if they try to find another way.

And the at the end of the day (and at the beginning) I'm English first, and proud of it. Ask any Scot or Welsh person...90% of them would call themselves Scottish or Welsh first and British second. The Englsh should get real, get up to date and start doing the same thing.

So whilst I still have enormous respect for the Union Flag, I'd only swear to the heart of it. Bring on the revolution, bring on the velvet divorce.

As for Holland, politicians with some backbone would be most welcome. A more effective legal system, without all this crap about 'I'm so sorry for killing this poor bloke for no reason outside a club' getting a lower term in prison. In general the bureaucracy of Holland, while being something of a cliché among Dutch political rhetoric, is of ridiculous proportions, and needs an extremely stringent overhaul. More willingness for various groups (Muslims being one example) to take part in the decision-making process, rather than claiming it's not their problem; the current administration isn't doing much to promote this, and is partially their fault. Less political apathy among the Dutch.

And most obviously, an end to this pathetic government of Balkenende. Please put it out of it's misery...

Things that would make my country better?

Re-introduction of corporal punishment for schools and misdemeanours. No more of this ASBO crap. Just give the little darlings a good hiding. Adults making these same crimes will be publicly flogged.
Have a Public Decency Act passed. All newspaper articles, books, plays, songs, and scripts must first be reviewed by the Office of the Lord Chamberlain prior to being transmitted to the public. Anything which contains obsceneties (I think BKS should be in charge of that ), glorification of crime or violence shall be censored. Public adverts with indecently dressed men and women will be censored.

The immediate deportation of all illegal immigrants, using force if nessissary,
The end of the Welfare State,
The destruction of mandentory bilingual education in schools. Also, if schools chose to teach multiple languages, they must teach all of the following:
Italian
German
Spanish
Latin
Russian
Japanese
Polish
French
Gaelic...
... and/or offer programs where a student can pursue their interest in a foreign language/culture on school time without political correctness or affirmative action prohibiting them,
and end to Affirmative Action and Political Correctness,
a cap on all legal immigration,
The Death sentance shall be mandentory for all of the following crimes:
Murder 1st or 2nd degree,
Rape
Drug Trafficing
Drug Pushing/Solicitation
Assault on a Military Member of Police Officer with intent to kill,
Conscription for all fit men over the age of 20, with the option to serve in a locally founded militia instead of the organized military force,
An emphisis on and government support for local militia in case of an assault on the nation,
A withdrawl from the UN and the severing of all relations with any Communist nations,
Support for an Independant Taiwan; recognition of the PRC as a Rogue State,
Complete and Total Industrialization of many rural areas in the Midwest,
Stricter laws on Drugs and other controlled substances,
Censorship of all Communist literature,
Abolition of the Supreme Court, to be replaced with a more trustworthy local court system,
A maximum of one appeal per prisoner,
The change of the Stars and Stripes to the Stars and Bars, a true American Flag,
An emphisis that Non-Citizens do not have the same rights as Citizens; they can be censored and ejected from the United States at the descretion of the US Government,
Non-US Born American Citizens and natural Citizens are both citizens of the United States, and therefore shall have the exact same rights in all categories,
While the seperation of Church and State is to be respected, so is the fact that Freedom of Religion is not Freedom from Religion and religious symbols may freely be shown in public places at the descretion of the shower,
Prayre is not to be restricted nor encouraged in public schools,
An emphisis on synthetic oil, instead on such calamaties as "smart cars,"
Abortion is to be illegal except in cases where the mother's life is endanger, or rape/incest,
While the actions of a person in the privacy of their own home is between themself and God, if done in public, it effects the nation as a whole; any public displays of Homosexuality, in the form of "Pride Day" and "Gay Pride" parades is to be outlawed,
and finally, the United States of America shall outlaw any forms of outsourcing, and demand that companies that have already outsourced jobs bring the jobs back into our nation.
