1.2 patch unlocked faction problem

Once id bought RTW id unlocked the unlockable, unplayable factions straightaway. But now after downloading the 1.2 Patch, i can play them anymore and now that ive reunlocked them with the descr_stats i get a CTD when i try them. Is this a general problem and a way to fix this or is it a thing with my PC???

I´ve played Macedon with 1.2, so it should not be a general problem. When exactly do you get a CTD?

Take a look at the textfile again. Make sure the factions you moved to playable factions are deleted the other place. If you are content that all look like it should do - you can reinstall the game, repatch (take a backup copy of the file your gonna mod) and try again
