    Default occultus

first of all, has anyone noticed that some of the occultus sigs are different (slightly). for example, khelvan's has greeny kind of colours in the gaps between the black bits, while pezhetairoi's has red and yellow bits. it looks like they hav gotten pictures and then just wiped over most of them with black in paint or sumthing. i dunno y i am making this post, maybe we can discuss our theories on the big "occultus" secret? pezhetairoi has said that it is really wat sets EB above RTW, so it must be very important. who's got ideas? i think that it is not a faction, in light of pezhetairoi's comment. so, wat do u guys think? personally i am stumped.

p.s i hope i don't get u in trouble pezhetairoi. i assume u were allowed to say wat u did.

EDIT: i just noticed malrubius' sig is also different. his has green and browny coloured bits.

I can remember when not so long ago I would've been as curious and speculative about that as you were... but now, I just LARF at you all ^_^ heehee, read my sig, and take the advice of patience :-D

But really, though, it's a sign of things to come, if khelvan won't kill me for telling you this.

Or the Occultus thing could be a running gag about the frequently blacked-out areas of the weekly previews. No reason it has to be something real, maybe the team just wants to have some innocent fun with us.

Hah, now I know what it is. Occultus is proto-latin-romanic word and it means "release". The sig is black now, but they will show more of it every day or week or year, who knows.
And I know what kind of picture there is in the sig. But my memory is quite poor, so maybe 5€ could help me remember or to keep my mouth shut, it depends who is asking.

Sorry for the OT, but are you guys going to include a "bartix easter egg".

In fact that is kind of a stupid question as if you will do it and tell us it wouldn't be an easter egg.

Well since everything seems to be very occult these days...

The best way to kill any potential future easter eggs is to discuss them. You know people don't include easter eggs if they're known, or even speculated about. They wouldn't be fun to find if they were already known.

Agreed. I would like to see some or much of EB kept from public view until release. That will make it all the more exciting to play. News games are like new girls, eh?

As much as I want to dive into that EB skirt, it's far more fun to take it slow.

right now i am convinced occultus simply refers to the factions that hav not yet been previewed. i hope it isn't, though.

Maybe it's a senate like faction that gives all factions (not just Rome) missions like in vanilla RTW. Think of the possibilites!

    Just a random idea....
