well the question in the title a Warhammer fantasy game would be nice for me in the scale of rome total war only with cannons, wizards, monsters and very uber generals aka:heros and your own coat of arms for them would be very nive me

Apparently they're working on a strategy one now. Not quite certain what happend to the online game though, that seems to be in publishing limbo.

I would like a real good star wars or star trek strategy game. One with the depth of MTW.

Like SA, just free roam. With hundreds of paths and you can choose what sort of life to lead. Kinda like the Sims, but with the free roam of GTA.

Virtual Reality game, you play a warrior in mtw style battles choose any type of warrior his looks weapons etc. There would be over 1000's of people playing in the battle with all unique looks. Now that would be cool.

Risa of Nations mixed with MTW and RTW and mixed finally with GTA San Andreas.

I mean, you advance in time.,

You start with RTW, advance until you get to MTW(improved of course with 3D and new map and new units and buildings....) and after MTW you get to GTA SA with new graphics and the Hot Coffee mod

A free MMORPG called Medieval whatever.

You chose your avater among hundreds different classes (charpenter, farmer, fisher, man at arm, trader, pilgrim, bard, etc.) and thousands different people from different places from all over Europe, Africa and Asia in 1204, and you play.

Administrators would play Special Characters such as the Pope, the HR Emperor, the Roman Emperor, the French king, the Great Khan etc.

The map would be scaled at 1:10 or so, all major cities and fortresses would be on the map.

A historical version of Morrowind...

set in 1000 and you create your own character. You choose your own Banner (with a paint-esque thing installed) then choose what country you belong to e.g. Danes, England, Welsh, Byzantines etc, then you play out your guy.
Choose between Farmer, Soldier, wanderer (kinda like a hobo) or a Vegabond if your characters male
Choose between Wife, Princess, Female Soldier, vigilante, Wanderer or Vegabond if you are female.

If you get to Lordly Status in-game you unlock the ability to start the game as a lord, same goes for a king.

Then the AI does all the strategy involved (e.g. Saxon England invades Wales but is repulsed in a great battle, if you are anywhere near that battle and asre a soldier you will take part)

Sounds great, i wish a company would make it...i would settle for crap AI

Run a search for Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat and Warhammer: Dark Omen. They are old, but still good.

An MMORPG set in ancient Greece, where you choose your City state and battle other city state hoplites and such in battles, with hundreds on either side, depending on how many decided to join. They could have formal battles between cities, with perma-death, and you could go on scouting parties, with a few people to destroy other scouting parties. There'd also be crafting, as in custom made weapons, and it would have to have battles in real time.

a Europa Universalis II type strategy mode, from the period of 1300 until 1918, with a battle engine like that of Cossacks/MTW/AC:FB combined, involving morale, terrain, etc. That would be the perfect game in my opinion

i just got the PC gamer mag today.....it says NAMCO (I THOUGHT THEY ONLY MADE PS2 GAMES) GWI (GAMES WORKSHOP INTERACTIVE) AND BLACK HOLE ENTERTAINMENT (They made ARMIES OF EXIGO, pretty good it is but its the only one they have made so far) are going today a remake of those games but with simular campain map slightly simpifed and the battle with loads of spicey extras than RTW
