Cool Your favourite NBA Team and Player

    Guyz,

What's your favourite NBA Team and player?!

I love the Houston Rockets and my favourite player is Tracy McGrady.

I haven't been keeping up with it for a while. I'm more interested in playing the game than watching it.

I'm gonna check out the NBA site, see what's been happening.

I'd say the Pacers are looking good. Not so sure about Mavericks for this season. But you can't really tell unless you watch the team every match, which is impossible unless you live in USA.

You mean tha National Thug Association dont you? Basetball sucks bigtime nowdays. They palm the ball all over the place and its all about showboating. Its not the team sport it once was. Give me the Knicks of the 60s and 70s. Walt Frazier, Willis Reed, Dave Debusher, Earl the Pearl Monroe, Phil Jackson . Now that was basketball.

Not to sound like I'm questioning your tolerance, but weren't all of them white?

    Jackson and DeBusschere are white.

    The rest are black.

Gawain, gimme the Lakers and Celtics coupled with Atlanta, of the mid 80's, late 80 and early 90's.

The purest basketball you can get. Magic Johnson - Larry Bird - Dominique Wilkins

How about Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Gerry West? The celtics of Red Aurbach though are probably the finest and most dominant teams ever and the purest basketball you can get. Hell even their sixth man John Havelicheck was amazing along with Bill Russell and the gang.

PS I also hate those baggy uniforms they wear now. Im sure women liked it better when they wore the old fashioned tight skimpy ones.

Both my guys too! . I don't really cheer for any team though,
just so they beat the Lakers and Pistons- I can't stand either of them .

Bit of correction.... It's Jerry West and John Havlicek....

Yeah, I agree. Kareem was a great player.
So, 2 of them. Magic and Bird, Kareem and Bill.

On the contrary, I love the baggy ones they wear now. Hip hop style. I bought a baggy Adidas uniform(basketball uniform, no player name on it or number). I love it. Plus, the Adidas T-MAC 4.5 that I have rock da house!
