They are all cool.
My favorites are Koinon Hellenon,Baktria,Sweboz,Aedui,Sauromatae,Pahlava,Iberia and Casse.

Just a note, while we're using Hebrew to assist with the transliteration, as much as possible the unit names will be Punic. Which will, of course, be very close to Hebrew, but there are differences.Originally Posted by Simetrical

The Eleutheroi. Because there's nothing more satisfying than sacking Rome with a bunch of supposedly-insignificant soldiers. I mean, who expects the great civilisations to be toppled by the Eleutheroi?
After that, the Tsorim. They're my favorite empire of the period.

Bactria, strangers in a strange land. Struggling to skeep the torch of Hellenism alive while enisled by barbarians on all asides. The only greeks anywhere near them are more interested in being masters than brothers. An epic tale by any measure.

RTW, 167 BC: Rome expels Greek philosophers after the Lex Fannia law is passed. This bans the effete and nasty Greek practice of 'philosophy' in favour of more manly, properly Roman pursuits that don't involve quite so much thinking.

Romans are nice. but then: i like javelinmen and other skirmishers (except bowmen..but thats just because of vanilla)

I picked a Roman faction, just because I haven't done any RTW in awhile, and to see how they're done. However, I could imagine myself easily playing as another faction.

Voted Pontos because it seems that it will be very challenging to play as them in the campaign an also I like the mix of hellenic and eastern units.

Yes, I know. But other than pronunciation, the only differences are vocabulary, and those are not insignificant, but not very large either.
As was said when the Tsorim were previewed, the name was subject to change. It has been changed to Karthadastim.

1. Casse, for that Barbarian Feel
then...
2. Baktria, for that Greek Feel
and finally.....
3. Rome...Cos i feel like it
