    Default Need help

    Sometimes when I'm playing MTW and I try to got to the menu from the campaign screen my game just closes and I don't know why please help.

    That still happens to me, but it's quite rare; maybe one out of every thirty or forty times I hit ESC. Because it's so rare, I haven't tried to find out what the problem is. The best thing to do is always do a quicksave (crtl + s) every time before you his ESC.

    Of course, if it's happening to you often, you might want to delve a little further into the problem.

    The same type of thing has happened on my machine, but only on rare occasions. It seems most frequent when I've been using the unit for a long time (several days) without a reboot.
    Now I shut my machine down and do a cold-boot before any long Medieval playing session, which flushes any garbage out of memory. GoofBall's recommendation is spot-on, so remember to CTRL-S before hitting ESC back to the menu.
    If those tips don't reduce the problem to a minimal level, I'd say it's symptomatic of a more significant computer issue - and that you're due for some intensive trouble-shooting.
