I was at Karjalan Prikaatin(Karelian Brigade),Kymen Jääkäri Pataljoonassa(Kymi´s Jaeger Battalion),Ensimmäisessä Panssarijääkäri komppaniassa(First armored Jaeger Company).Here is a link sorry it´s in Finish but there are few photographs from equipment.Here is a picture of Finnish soldier in his natural enviroment.Here is another one this time in winter. No.Jääkäri Kessu=Jaeger Sergeant.I had some recon training in petty officer school but i wouldnt dare to call myself a Sissi.

Joining either Army or RAF one day, but my dad served in the RAf as a Technician (no combat though, lucky sod) and my grandad served in the Army (before and during WW2, meaning he want a conscript) My Grandads story is very interesting, when i have time (i'm eating ice cream ATM) i'll tell you it.

Gawain, have you read Phantom Over Vietnam ?

Its one of my all time favourite books, I've read it I don't know how many times. A book about Phantoms, by a USMC pilot who did 2 tours at Da Nang, sounds right up your street He flew with VMFA-314 "Black Knights" btw.
