Some were proven, others not. There are quite a few (I liked the soccer match between Barbados and Grenada)

    Have you just been dumped?

I ask because it's usually something like that which causes outbursts like this, needless to say I dissagree completely.

Every time my sister, who should know better but doesn't, forwards a hoax email to me I patiently explain that I would prefer if she checked with snopes.com before sending me anything again. She sent me the email postage letter, she sent me the presidential IQ letter, she sent me the Dave Matthews is dead letter (probably thought it would cheer me up) and many more. She must be wierdly magnetized to attract email hoaxes, and she forwards them all to me thinking they're real. Each time I tell her to use snopes.com and she sends them anyway.

Then she sent me the Mars hoax letter. That was the last straw. I went off on her in a reply and told her that the next time she forwarded one of these to me, I would put her on my spam filter so that all her future emails to me would go straight to the junk mail folder and get deleted without me ever seeing them. Hopefully that got through her thick skull.
