Default What Courses are you Taking this Semester?

Just had registration today. Mine are:

    PHYS 203: Foundations of Physics
MATH 111: Calculus and Analytic Geom I
PHIL 100: Ethics Justice and society
FYS: On the Meaning of Life

FYS stands for first year seminar. Everyone at my college has to take one but there are about thirty different topics. It's basically a writing intensive course.

    11 AP US History
    Art I (Oh joy...)
    Pharmacology (pointless short block)
    11 AP English

Next semester I will be taking a science and math as well as the AP reviews, my high school has a block schedule so I don't take all of my classes year round.

    I miss high school:

    Advanced Transport Phenomena
    Statics and Dynamics
    Intro to Environmental Engineering
History of Christianity (for cracks about this class, please see the backroom)
    Archery
    Fencing

But I must say the last two courses prove why it is nice to be a 5th year

Lucky. My HS wouldn't even let student clubs near water.

    As for me;
    Chem
    Bio
    Calc 3
    Hist. of Christianity in Europe
Eng. 298 (which is a lot better than 198, as 198's topic is gay literature and film ).

Totally a hijack, but I'm teaching the following this year:

3 sections World History since 1450ish (9th graders, ugh.)

2 sections US History 2, from 1898-present (11th grade, much better.)

And I'm darn excited, too! I'll be going to school for the rest of my life, lol.
Let me go back and face the peril!

well, i've been out of school for a while now, but here's what i took in my last semester.. iirc..

    metallochemistry
    diffraction principles
    core physics (seminar)
geochemistry of the early solar system
phase equilibria and boundry conditions (or something..)

i think one of those should be replaced by something else. lol, i need to find my transcript.
now i'm here, and history is vindicated.

Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

Well Lord Hammerschmidt I feel your pain, 9th graders annoy me too. We had to take a field trip with them last year, god they were loud.

Anyway moving on from bad memories and into 11th grade, my first day of school is tomorrow.
