I'm also thinking of playing harmonica, my grandfather played it but he died not so long ago.
Piano rather well (mainly jazzy stuff, improvisations), guitar and bass quite well from playing in a couple of minor bands and some drumming.

Classical piano, trumpet, flute, and a little, very very small bit of string music/instrument
guitar(acoustic, that I got free from my grandma's attic not like I'm gonna buy an electric or an amp)
and I'm pretty good on the harmonica, but only have a C, so playing stuff in A sounds kinda strange, but who cares.
And when I jam with friends I got pretty low pipes so I do some JLH "boom boom, haw haw" stuff.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.
I play can play some Dylan, but also some harder stuff like Neil or the Dead. I try and stick to easy strumming stuff without power chords because I can never get it to sound nice on my aucostic. So mainly a few chord sort of stuff, though my guitar teacher is helping me expand my style and strech out to more complecated stuff.Originally Posted by Gertgregoor
It's not that I dislike the electric, I just don't have one. Next year for my birthday I'm gonna get a nice electric hollow body.

cool, powerchords don't sound that good as on a acuostic guitar as they do on an electric but I think if played a bit gently (can't find a better word) and controlled they sound okay (it's usually the E which does it, i think).Originally Posted by Steppe Merc

"And one should bear in mind that there is nothing more difficult to execute, nor more dubious of success, nor more dangerous to administer than to introduce a new order to things; for he who introduces it has all those who profit from the old order as his enemies; and he has only lukewarm allies in all those who might profit from the new. This lukewarmness partly stems from fear of their adversaries, who have the law on their side, and partly from the skepticism of men, who do not truly believe in new things unless they have personal experience in them."

Electric and acoustic guitar though lately i dont have much time. My bro is sound engineer so we collectively have 8 guitars (1 classic, 2 acoustic, 5 electrics) and 2 big amplifiers, along with midi keyboards and many effects and pedals. If we continue like this we will have to leave the room to the instruments. Basically I play metal but also alot of rock-hard rock stuff. My bro is also very fond of nu-metal stuff, Im more old fashioned.
