I'm quite happy as I am, but if I was growing up again, I'd want to give the Royal Marines a go (specifically, the arctic and alpine warfare specialists). I like the arctic and I like the mountains and for that matter I like messing about in boats, and what I know now, and didn't know then, is it does no harm whatsoever to delay starting a "real" career for a few years.

Also the Royal Marines are bastard hard and that's a fact.
