    Hi

Am i right in sating it would be pretty easy to change the Faction Flags in MTW?

Each Faction i think only has 2 flags'the Units Rectangles and the Generals Square.

These are probably TGA Format or something similar and if replaced with your own design would appear.

These would always show in SP'but only the user would probably see his in MP.

Anyone know where the Graphic Files for flags are stored?

    Thanx

Shields are kept in the Medieval Total War\campmap\shields folder for single player but they dont really change the larger banners, just the tiny info flags you see for loyality and other things.

I have seen the others, cannot remember where but I think they are in textures somewhere.

    Found them i think.

    In he main MTW Directory.

    Battle Folder then Flags.

Looks like 32x32 pixels and should be easy to replace.

Yes I think you have, did you notice theres an LBM and TGA version of the same flags in there ?

Odd i thought. Must be a reason. Perhaps the battles use TGA and not LBM or something.

TGA would be much better as its more widely supported.

Can only think that 1 is for units and the other for generals.

One is square the other gets stretched to rectangle
