    Default Rebel Faction limitations

I was just curious whether or not you HAVE to have a slave faction, or can this be turned into a new faction? probably an obvious answer to this and its just me being stupid
    thanks for your help
    When I was a child
    I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
    The child is grown,
    The dream is gone.
    I have become comfortably numb...

You probably could rename the Slave faction and set them up as a more coherent faction, but they'd still behave like the rebels. Any provinces that rebelled would belong to them, any random brigands would count as their forces, etc, so I don't think it'd be hugely playable.
And I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder,
One of the four beasts sang, "Come and see,"
And I saw, and behold, a white horse.

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts,
And I looked, and behold, a pale horse,
And his name it said on him was Death,
    And Hell followed with him.
