I'll try it dude, we'll see.
Copy all of the RTW files in the Activision folder and paste them to a new folder named differently than Rome Total War.
Got it.
Thanks ;)![]()

Yeah, that's how you do it![]()
Hey dudes,
I just tried to copy the RTW files from the Activision folder to another folder within Activision, in other words: from Rome - Total War to RTW folder.
I had an error though, here's what it is:
Cannot copy egyptian_outro_320x240: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
What's going on?
HEEELLLPPPP!
The easiest thing is just to copy the whole folder. Go to the directory where you´ve installed Rome to, right-click on the Rome folder, select copy, right-click n the folder again and select paste, and after some time (depending on your machine) you´ll have a folder named "copy of Rome".Originally Posted by hellas1
Actually, I find it easier to just copy the data folder, and then maintain as many data folders as I need for modding, renaming as necessary depending which I actually want to use.
Hi Folks,
I tried doing exactly as was told but I still get the:
egyptian_outro_... error I posted earlier, why is this happening to me?
Is this a corrupted file? and if so, How do I fix this one file?
Thanks!
Help please!
Hi again folks,
I fixed my problem by uninstalling RTW and reinstalling it.
It works now, the egyptian_outro_... file was corrupted, all's cool now.
Sorry for the confusion.
Thank you for your help!!!
