When will the open beta NOT be done?

Ok, I've read a lot of 'when will it be released' topics. And I know the answer. So I'm not going to make one.

However, I'm going to be kindof busy for the next month, and I was curious if the team could say up to what point there is pretty much 100% certainty that the mod will NOT be released.

For example 'The open beta will definately not be released before the end of september. After that I really can't say'

Or whenever.

Because I really do want to play your mod at the earliest possible opportunity, but I wont be checking the forums regularly for a while

It definitely won't be done this week and probably the next. After that, it depends on how things go with what we're currently working on.

I would have put three weeks as an absolute minimum. Maybe two weeks, though, I suppose, miracles do happen.

Well, I'm an optimist at heart. Of course, the realist in me says we'll run into more hard code and take another two months to fix it :P

I thought we had an equivalent amount of time remaining when I posted the message, way back when, that we were shooting for a May release of the open beta. So take that for what it is worth.

If what we are currently testing works, I can say with confidence that we do NOT have another four months to wait, not even close. If what we are currently testing does not work, I cannot say that, because I don't know what our solution will look like...back to the drawing board, if it were, and no one will be happy, mostly the dev team.
