Default Moving units from the Viking to the Main Campaign

I've just added the Welsh to my main campaign and I have tied to add Welsh Bandits. I followed the adding units guide posted in the Repository, but everytime I go to run MTW:VI, I get

"Too few values found in element data: column 3, data row 184

    250"

    (^refering to Crusader_unit_prod_11 file)
I havn't altered anything on the unit, but i still get it. Any idead?

Unhappy Re: Moving units from the Viking to the Main Campaign

This may not be the best solution, but ive had this problem before when i tried making new units. It says too few values in the gnome editor column, which tells the price of the unit. I obeyed it litterally just to see what was wrong, and kept making the number bigger and bigger until i got to 8000. At 8000 it worked. lol of course i dont want an 8000 florin archer unit of any sort.

So i tried making a different unit in the collum and that also failed it wanted me to keep raising my cost.

then i took the row and changed the unit name to a bogus name that i would never use, and erased the unit's buildings and mercinary settings so the computer wouldnt build it either.
Then added my desired unit in the next line after that. And this to my suprise worked. It seems like it was something to do with the row itself. Every other unit ive added after this row has worked.

the line i had this problem with was row 193 (rather than row 187) but try this i hope it works. I dont know what was technically wrong.

Does anyone else have an idea so we dont have to waste a line?

ps: i notice when i add new lines to the unit_prod.txt i get more lines added to the gnome editor, how many new units will it let us mod. The more the merrier. and the bigger the game: "last man standing wins" -Gimli
