Thanks to all of you for the all important early support. To reveal whats going on now the Dacian unit list is being made into real models, and I should have something to show all of you on that front soon.

Very cool, but I'm wondering if the units are supposed to be that bright?

Just to nitpick, the Picts don't really exist as "Picts" at this time. "Caledonians" would serve as a better moniker. Also, will Hibernia be seeing much action? If the Roman player actually did manage to conquer and hold Caledon, a quick hop across the Irish Sea would seem like an appropriate move.
Alright, I'll change them to Caledonia. I hadn't though about Hibernia. We could iclude it in the map. Were there any important or major kingdoms/tribes their in 83 AD?

The Goidils, who would later be known as the Irish. Rome never did bother much with invading this island, but the Goidils themselves took an active role in piracy and raiding upon and around Britannia - "Scoti", the word from which Scotland, an arguably Gaelic (read: Goidilic) kingdom, comes actually means "sea raider" or "pirate". I'm also fairly confident that Rome would have conquered Hibernia if things hadn't gone so poorly for them in Caledon or other parts of the empire.Originally Posted by Ignoramus
