Btw , the battle near Caudium was in the second Samnite war , not in the first .

I was referring to both instances in that. They won the first Samnite war and the battle.

Looks nice. Only real complaint I've got are the shields of the Legio Linteata Gold and the Samnitis Maniple; they just seem too bright, the colours reallu clash with the rest of the model.

I agree with you on the Samnite victory near Caudium (it is a fact) , but not about the end of the first Samnite war -
The Roman Consul , Lucius Aemilius Mamercinus Privernas invaded the Samnite territory and looted it with no oposition , the Samnites sends a delegation to talk to him , etc'

This mod will allow you to continue playing. No Alexander death. He was planning go to West, and you will be able to. Also, it isn't true to say it had no impact on Alexander. Carthage was under the hegemony of Persia, and contributed to the defense of Tyr, as well as the Persian navy at various times in history.

Alexander's cousin was campaigning in Italy at this time, as well. He was killed in battle, giving Alexander all the pretext he needed to invade.

The Romans were in a horrible position at the end with the Latin League, though. They would have been unable to fight on.
