    Nonsense. That was 1900+ years ago. The average height of humans has increased since then. Most of the people I met in Naples when I was there were all pretty much the same height as me with some variation just like anywhere else. My mother is only 5'2" and yet I'm right at 6 feet. Don't worry about it.

    Roman build is usually used to refer to someone who is short and thick. Thick does not necesarily mean fat or out of shape either.

    Stocky is a good way to describe that... You know a short compact person. In general Inuits and other artic peoples are built like that (for comparison).
