    Default texturing problem

I was editting a barbarian texture and i found (to my surprise) that a layer of alpha-channeling(?) is applied on top of the texture when it is saved. Is it possible to edit this? Is it a file i have to edit or is there something in photoshop?

You can imagine my surprise when i started up RTW and saw that many portions of my unit had been turned invisible.

    Do you mean interpolated apha?

I save it as a DXT5 ARGB (Interpolated Alpha) and 2D Texture.

If your texture is invisable only in the game because of alpha channeling then you don't have to redo the whole texture just the alpha channeling. You will only need to apply black to the areas of the texture which you don't want to appear, ie the black square around your shield. Pm me if you need help redoing your alpha channeling.

Well thats what i thought as well but for whatever reason it isnt working like that. Whats happening is that something is remembering where the original alpha-channeled areas were and then applying them to the new texture.
