Cheney and his cronies are chasing me. They seek to destroy the last remaining socialist revolutionary in the country. Or maybe it's just me- in which case, I am chasing me. But I can't be chasing me, because I am me.
What am I doing here? Am I just wandering around in some kind of drug haze? Or have I really come down here to do a story?
The decision to flee came suddenly. Or maybe not. Maybe I had been planning it all along, subonsciously waiting for the right moment. The bill was a factor, I think- because I had no money to pay for it. Our room service tabs had been running somewhere between 29 and 36 dollars per hour, for 48 consecutive hours. Incredible. How could it happen? But by the time I asked this question, there was noone around to answer. That rotten attourney of mine, Dr. Gonzo, was gone. He must have sensed trouble.
...Where was I? Oh, right- Cheney and his cronies are chasing me....
