Problems with Reconquista Mod

Greetings. Okay, I reinstalled MTW and MTW VI after having it uninstalled for over a year now. I updated all the official patches (including 2.01 patch) and installed the full 61MB Reconquista mod from this site (click here) that was posted in the reconquista stickey. I play a campaign as the Castillians and around 1142, the game crashes to the desktop. I thought it might be a glitch in a saved campaign game. So I went back a few years before 1142 like 1131 and 1132 as was suggested in the Reconquista thread. But it still crashed to the desktop. So, I decided to play a new campaign as the Castillians again and just now, in 1142, the game crashed to the desktop again! Also, I just recently checked the Historical Battles that the Reconquista team made for the game and there are no previews maps shown in the battle preview. It’s just an ocean. The tactical battle when I play it is alright though. However, the description of the history of the battles is in Spanish not English. I only know a few Spanish but I'm not a fluent Spanish speaker See:


Also, should the description of each faction in the campaign be described in game? All I get was unit description but no history explanation of each Reconquista faction like in the other regular campaigns.

Does anybody know how to fix all of this? Thanks for any response I get.
