A little while ago, someone posted a picture of the worst general ever. Well, here is a picture of my best general ever.

I don't know how I lost him but I will truly mourn his death.

That's a pretty good governor, but he's not the best general. I've gotten 9 stars with ever fighting bonus before.

    munky,

I think the thread title ought to have been My best general ever.

If this general had started life at 0-star, lacks boosters like skilled attacker/defender etc, then the rise to 7 star represents a highly impressive 128 victories.

However, with only 99 territories on the map (unmodded that is), then there must have been some heavy duty repeat rebellion action going on...

Shortly after these pics he upgraded to Specialist Attacker.

Even brand new, green troops get like 4 or 5 valour under him.

Battles orchestrated by this man almost seem to be accompanied by music

No, but he is not stupid. Hay look here comes his favorite unit of mounted crossbowmen.

Wow, you guys got some kick butt generals there... I've got a handle on dread, loyalty and command but how can you increase their acumen to those levels? It seems like all of my English generals are fiercely loyal, bloodthirsty and brilliant fighters but so dumb they couldn't spell cat if you spotted them the C and the T.

I suppose playing for world domination and never having a moment of peace helps keep them this way.

Nine stars clearly show his expertise at running away. Welcome to the wonderful world of nationalistic jibes. So clever.

You have to have a good blood line. Keep getting rid of those low acumen hiers.

I guess it was both luck and all the extras you get from all those advanced buildings.
