    Default Most painful sporting injuries

We have had a fair few sports threads recently and i thought certain pics or film should be looked at. I have a fair few, mainly football injuries to show:

Hendrix Larson shatters his ankle for Celtic (Film pretty painful to say the least)

    Gym chaos:

Kick boxer has a leg problem (the worst i think of the bunch)

    Funny but still painful

Some fellas disagree on who is the best footie team with just insane results

Well to me the worst though I dont knoe if it counts as an injury was seeing Dale Ernhardt die a few years back. I remember sitting there weeping like a baby. Next to that though I remember Lawrence Taylor snapping Joe Theismans leg like a toothpick on monday night football ending the carreer of one the best QBs ever.

Dave Busst ankle and leg busted big time. This injury at old trafford put him out of football for good and is truely horrendous

    Cisse breaks leg at Blackburn:

Roy "The Lunatic" Keane puts the boot right in on Inge Halland who hardly played since this tackle which is much worst when watched on television

A couple of years ago I was at a football game and on a kickoff the player was returning it he lowerd his head ( something you are tuaght never to do) and when the guy hit helmet to helmet the kick returner died instantly they cancelled the rest of the game scariset thing ive ever seen at a game
There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Schumacher 'colliding' with Battiston, World Cup 1982.

Choose 'watch video clips', then select 'Schumacher collides with Battiston'.

Germany keeper Harald Schumacher came charging off his line and made no attempt to play the ball, crashing into Battiston who was carried off and required oxygen in the dressing room before heading to hospital. His jaw was broken and he lost two teeth.

I know someone who was at that game, 5 rows from where it happened. They had to use buckets of water to wash the blood off the pitch. He said Schmeical was leaning on the post trying not to be sick.

The worst one ever has to be Clint Malarchuk, goalie for the Buffalo Sabres, he got hit in the throat by a skate, cut an artery, blood everywhere.

It happened in the 80s, but I saw a video of it last year, oh man it was horrible. The blood is just pumping out of his throat, spurting through the air and you're thinking "good Lord, I'm watching a man die". Unbelievably they kept him alive, and he survived, eventually returning as a pro. But he suffered severe mental problems for years afterwards, only seeking treatment a couple of years ago.

WARNING! DO NOT CLICK IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE SIGHT OF BLOOD!

This 2nd photo, you can see the look of horrified "what do I do?" on #25s face.

"I request permanent reassignment to the Gallic frontier. Nay, I demand reassignment. Perhaps it is improper to say so, but I refuse to fight against the Greeks or Macedonians any more. Give my command to another, for I cannot, I will not, lead an army into battle against a civilized nation so long as the Gauls survive. I am not the young man I once was, but I swear before Jupiter Optimus Maximus that I shall see a world without Gauls before I take my final breath."
