On a related tangent (if that's possible?) - the new BI Ironman rules are taking shape already - conquer the world as Hun Runaway Slave Spearmen...

Yeah, the Runaway Spearmen sorta stands out. Other than that though, the unit list looks very good.

As in Roman slaves who ran away and joined the horde to stick it to the man, so to speak.

Boy, am I going to be a Hun. Lancers and horse archers: My kind of army.

Somebody previewed the game for a website and said they were hard to play, since they start out as a horde and such.

P.S. Does anybody think IGN is going to give this game less than a 9.0 review after all the hype they've given it?

Don't let Steppe Merc see this, or he'll go nuts....

Good units, but Steppe Swordsmen?! Be serious...
    Runaway Slave Spearmen?! OMG....
Ja mata, TosaInu. You will forever be remembered.

    Been to:

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.

A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?

I like going nuts. Going nuts works for me. Steppe Merc will too.

Hey, even the Huns need somebody to push a ram or dig a sap once in a while.

    Runaway Slave Spearmen?! OMG....
As someone mentioned earlier, it's a night Monty Python reference. I wish they'd put that in the game when a unit routs: "Run away! Run away!"
