    Not neccasarily , if you think of jumping with a chute/kite/glider then its fine.
    If its over deep water (watch out for the rocks and currents) and you want to try it with or without any of the forementioned then it is fun .

    Then you may well need your friends to have a serious word with you .

    Big drops are fierce fun , but you must enter them with every intention of coming out again , (though sometimes it doesn't work out like that) .

    Considering the thoughts include me going 'splat' on the ground, yes they should be rather frightening.
