    Default Senate Office Appointments?

Can senate office appointments be turned off or slowed down anyway?

I've unified Rome in M/M 1.0 and cut the base farm levels to keep population growth & money to a more reasonable level. Now even though I've completed only 1 of 8 senate missions at this time I keep getting all these appointments. I'm suffering from ' Super Leader Syndrome '. I know it's because I'm the only other faction the senate can give them too.

I don't need the extra benefits of senate office holding. With academys and temples I can get all the edge I need to overcome the more restictive economics. It's a small gripe, I've almost got the perfect setup if not for that one little problem.

The file Data\descr_senate.txt is what you're looking for, I believe. You could reduce the number of offices or increase the duration or various other tweaks there.

Ah! the Generals! they are numerous, but not good for much (especially if they're Languorous)!

Alternately, you could reduce or eliminate the benefits of holding an office by modding the traits files. That way you keep some flavor while curing the "Super Leader Syndrome".
