    it also weird that they dont conquer or build any troops after you made them protectorate...they just sit and do nothing...that you gt all the money they earn is stupid

    Well I think thats the idea, they are protected by you and you build the army for them, hence the payment. So they can never be strong enough to rise against you again, a la Germany 1918
