Challanges are excellent for the learning experience, and as such, I have learned much here that I could never learn in High School.Do you think thats why I gave him my vote? Try debating him and then comeback and tell me that. I however certainly glad his positions usually agree with mine. Id hate to have to be on the otherside.
Actually, if I am reading Soulforged correctly, he is drawing a distinction between education and intelligence. He is labeling intelligence as a native talent and therefor beyond the control of the individual. By contrast, "learned" would refer to those who have studied and acquired knowledge. Learning is aided by, but does not require, intelligence.
However, Soulforged, you failed to define "learned" accurately. When you use the term "learned" are you referring to formal education, to self-taught knowledge, or to direct personal experience. All of these are sources of learning and any of the well-written members above may have one or more quality in their favor.

"The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule." -- H. L. Mencken
Yup that has me confused. The only reason I appear learned is that Ive been around so damn long. Something has to stick. However, Soulforged, you failed to define "learned" accurately. . When I don't know something in english i usually take the dictionary. For this case I took the word "erudito", that is mostly "erudite", but I didn't wanted to use that word so i looked for a similar, thus posting "learned".
