    Question Where's Clayton?!

Hey, I miss Clayton. I miss his useless topics.

Any idea where he might be?! Or he is permanently banned?!

I don't know half of what transpired, but I believe there have been incidents recently involving people using double or triple accounts, threats against staff members, trolling and general unpleasantness. Maybe TosaInu could explain in general terms what happened, and then we could all get on with our regular board lives, no?

Clayton made a death threat against a staff member. TosaInu told Clayton that he would be permanently banned unless he made an apology within one month. Clayton failed to make an apology and so was permanently banned.

Threatening members can only result in one thing a permanent ban. Im afraid Clayton should of seen it coming.

In fact, I think the adminstration was too lenient in this case. A deaththreat should result in an immediate permanent ban, no exceptions.

I must have missed this! I wanted to post this screenshot when he got punished.

Anyway, I'd like to thank the mods for reminding us that there is a line that cannot be crossed. In my own personal opinion the disciplinary system here seemed too focused on rehabilitation and not on eliminating the problem.

Still, we gave that fellow hundreds of chances and I'm glad he's gone.

His age and obvious difficulties with staying focused were taken into account.

Yes and if our profile is correct he is an anemic ADD 12 year old who likes the Weather and History... who threatened Beriut.

Even though I would rate his chances as low as chipmunk of beating Beirut, the fact is he made the threat and is now no longer here.

Well, now that that cat's out of the bag...

CB threatened to kill me twice during an exchange of PMs. As well as making some truly disgusting remarks.

The PMs, his and mine, were available to the senior staff for review upon asking.

After due consideration, and incredible patience and understanding on Tosa's part, CB was allowed to redeem himself and his member status upon completion of a few tasks. CB did not do so.

He was permanently banned as a result.

    End of story.

Threaten Beirut?! That crossed the line.

As much as i miss him, he really did cross the line sometimes. I mean, come on, threatening to kill Beirut? You might as well go hang yourself, your imminent death would be less painful. Here is the following technicolour representation of what could have happened if Clayton hadn't been banned:

I think what your failing to take into account here is the fact he didn't just threaten Beirut he threatened other members of this forum. Beirut may be a mod but at the end of the day he's only human. Some people in this thread talk about threatening Beirut as if that's what resulted in Claytons banning. In my opinion he should of been banned way before he threatened Beirut. Regardless of age Clayton should of not done what he did. If he didn't know how to behave responsibly on the forums after repeated warnings he should of been banned.

P.S Sorry if this sounds a bit offensive im not very good at phrasing my words so I hope you get what I mean.
Oh and Mikeus I think Beiruts axe should be biger than that!

    Hear, hear!

I tried, on numerous occasions and even through PM´s, to straighten CB out but with no effect what so ever. To me the guy bears all the hallmarks of a serious disturbed person and the complete lack of communications skills, empathy for others and uncontrollable rage suggested, to me, that I was dealing with a person suffering from MD or ADHD.
I too belive that he should have been banned much earlier, like after 3 varnings or soo, but he just kept racking them up. I can also think of a couple of people that actually kept on teasing him which is unforgivable. Just because a person is devient doesn´t make an excuse to bully and persecute them but this guy simply didn´t fit in and he hadn´t any desire to do so either.

Now that he's gone, can WE see the PMs? I'd like to read them, I enjoy reading things written by a true lunatic. I tend to understand them.

Anyway, didn't he threaten other members lives as well? He should have been banned the second he said that...along with of course being tracked down and beaten with reeds. No one has the right to actually threaten to kill a member of this forum, but to threaten to kill Beirut is just the most obsurd thing I have ever heard. Beirut is the man. Seriously.

And the fact that he did not even apologize shows that, one day soon, he's going to make a long, hard fall. Literally, or metephorically.

He managed to get my AIM as well, and IMed me quite a bit. Quite funny, if I may say so myself.

And he threatened lives on other forums as well.

    So...how bout them PMs?
