One Problem IF its a bible mod and using the bible as a reference then Israel will almost always have to win. lol

Neat Idea though, maybe someone will finally make Harrods Temple.

Herod's Temple was long, long after the period antiochus mentions. It was a renovation of the Second Temple, beginning around 19 BCE. The Second Temple itself was built in the 530s–510s BCE. In fact, even Solomon's Temple (the First Temple) is out of his timeframe―antiochus is talking the Tabernacle period, the time of judges, before the Kingdom was founded.

It would be interesting. I'm sure a good modder could make it fun.

here is my idea:mod based between,1100 to700 bc. factions include:
    assyria, israel,phonicia,egypt,kush,saebaens,beodiuns,pales tine,canaanites,moab,libya, babylon,nabataea.
new buildings, tech trees, temples, faction symbols are all the things i would like to include in it.
i have started research on these civ, i can skin and text edit, but my main hurdle would be the map

Sim you are so anal at times. lol I know that just because someone says it would be nice doesnt mean they dont know their history. His mentioning of Israel, made me think how nice it would have been to have the Temple in Jerusalem for my MOD. lol

Most of my thoughts on RTW revolve around my mod or EB.

Well, I'm pretty sure EB has the Second Temple at the start of the game. Not Herod's Temple, of course.

Actually, most of the time Israel went pagan and God punished them by removing his protection from them and let them get invaded. After a while they repented and God bailed them out until the Babylonian conquest.
