    Default NASA's O'Keefe--GAO Report

Former NASA administrator O'Keefe was renowned for his wasteful expenditures for travel. Lots of NASA flights that should have been commercial, and many folks being flown around with him, just to justify the NASA flight. I heard all of this about a year ago. Not only was he busy getting our astronauts killed through his "leadership" he was wasting our money while doing it. GAO Report is just coming out.

I was living in East Texas when the shuttle exploded over my house. I'm still really peeved at Bush that O'Keefe wasn't axed early on. It handicapped the agency having him around when it needed to rebuild. And look at the result? Insufficient steps toward resolving the problems. A waste of time and money.

I don't know, but the students and faculty weren't too crazy over his selection.
