Default Request for CA: console_command event

Fellows, I am wondering about this:
The Romano-Brits emerge when Eburacum and Londinium is taken.
This is hardcoded, but an event exists that is called "event"
As there is an "emergent_faction" event type in descr_events.txt I think it might be possible to use that to emerge factions.
I haven't succeeded yet but the script loads only nothing happens.
So my request is: Can you tell us whether the event-command works or not, and if it works, if we can use it to emerge factions.

doest that just mean that you can trigger an advice thread after a faction emerges ? not the other way round.

No in event_descr.txt in the campaign folder you find these lines:

    event emergent_faction slavs
    date 47 summer
    region Locus_Barbaricum

    Which spawns the slav faction.
I already tested this. If I set it to date 1 summer, the slavs spawn quite early ;)

Damn, is the R-B emeging definitely hardcoded? This may cause me huge problems when putting a different map into BI. And I was so happy about BI being mod-friendly.

Ya, it definitely is, I opened a research thread here:

If I find anything, I'll post it there.
