    Well...

I'm making some changes to the campaign's starting position to make it a little less unhistorical... (especially the SE part)
I'm doing pretty well with changing regions, buildings, armies etc

BUT I have a few questions:

1.Is there a way to change/insert/define generals (especially rebels)? (I noticed they are not entirely random, eg Valencia gets "Lord Cid")

2.Is there a way to define the exact religious percentages in provinces (other than setting CULTURE_XXXXX - which sets a province to 95%+ in that religion)?

3.Is there a way to set starting alliances/wars?

4.Can I define the name of armies in rebel provinces? (I noticed the entries in early.txt are commented out)

    Very good questions.

    Perhaps Gil can help.

I did manage to make some AI nations ally with each other im preference to other by changing the religion they followed from mostly catholic to orthodox. What was france and england was changed to orthodox and this created a hostile attitute towards italy and germany in my mod. See my website and download Empire V2.

You will see how i did it. It is not a perfect solution for you though.
