Aww, so you can never replace your Bedwetter In Chief once he kicks the bucket? Damned shame, that.

Not true, I checked the ancillery file especially for this last night...

All the title or office type ancilleries are handed out as triggers in the same manner as other ancilleries but the list of requirements are quite long.

They also have a limitation which only allows one instance of the title at anyone time.

Now while the list of requirements are long the chance of getting the title is very high. For example all the Barbarian warlord ones have a 100% of being awarded. But you need a 4 star general who just won a heroic victory against decent odds (plus some other stuff) and no one else hold the title to get to the 100% chance of it being awarded...

Actually I quite like it, you can just randomly had out the titles, the general has to earn them...

What would be fun would be generals in your faction who are not family members picking these up, effectively competing with your family generals...

The barbarian ones all pretty much require victorious battles to gain. The Roman ones mainly require a qualified general to be hanging around in the right town (with the correct buildings constructed) for a while...
